Anna grew up on Kulin land where she began work in campaigning, strategic communications and community organising. Anna has worked for racial, economic and gender justice at several organisations, including the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (NATSILS), the ABC, Commission for Children and Young People and the Koorie Youth Council. While at the Koorie Youth Council, Anna managed and wrote Ngaga-dji, a storytelling and advocacy project with Aboriginal children in the justice system that was awarded a human rights award from Liberty Victoria. Anna’s work brings together creativity, analysis and strategy, she is committed to community-led movements that build solidarity and grassroots power.
