Biography

Kara Keys is a proud First Nations woman as a descendant of the Yiman and Gangulu peoples of central Queensland.
 
Kara has extensive experience in developing and leading a range of strategic campaigns, policy development. advocacy and stakeholder engagement programs with over 15 years’ experience working in member based, representative organisations.

Kara is the Director of KTL Collective. KTL Collective works with people, communities and organisations to make ideas for change a reality. We provide expert advice, guidance and analysis to support campaigns for justice and equality. We draw on decades of experience winning campaigns, building communities and collaborating with activists to foster lasting and meaningful change.
