Nicole is living and working on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri people. She is a PhD candidate examining online hate speech against women, as well as a researcher exploring digital technologies and their impact on the sexual and intimate lives of Australians via law. Nicole has previously worked on projects researching minority and disability rights, international criminal law and justice, health law, and Australian criminal law.
Nicole is dedicated to challenging disadvantage, inequality and oppression. She has previous experience volunteering with community legal centres such as the Moonee Valley Legal Service, Justice Connect and Youthlaw. She has also volunteered with the Australian Red Cross.
Nicole has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of International Relations from La Trobe University. She is also a qualified lawyer.
